The functionality of borders and immigrancy has changed. Or has it?
As Director of Photography on this project, a unique visual style had to be brought to a unique idea, that poses many questions on society as a whole. How far have we actually come in the past 100 years? Why are we still trapped?
An old style for a modern concept.
Using framework inspired by that of old, super 8 film, mixed with the modern look from a Sony FS5, it was critical that the cinematography suited the narrative. Posting advertising inspired by that of old war-time propaganda, 'New Solution?' tackles the hypocrisy, and sometimes drastic effects that come with immigrancy and politics.
